 John Baugh graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1986. He has practiced in Florence since that time. While in law school, he was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. He is a member of state and local bar associations and is admitted to practice in state and federal courts. He is an approved mediator in the Alabama court system, and is also available to act as an arbitrator. He was formally an instructor of Business Law at the University of North Alabama, and an Assistant District Attorney for Lauderdale County. He is a volunteer mediator for the family court of Lauderdale County involving cases pending on that docket. For couples contemplating divorce, he can assist the spouses in resolving issues and conflicts before they file divorce papers, thus saving them a good deal of time and attorney expenses.
